Our story

PowerProof Home was founded by Jeremy Jarvis to be the resource he wanted when comparing backup power: clear numbers, honest trade-offs, safety guidance from official sources, and calculators that show their work, instead of sales pages that push the biggest unit.

What we believe

• Safety first. We follow CDC, CPSC, USDA and Ready.gov guidance and say clearly when a licensed electrician is required.
• Right-size everything. The right generator or battery is the smallest one that reliably covers your real loads.
• Honesty over hype. We separate fact from opinion, cite sources and say what we have and have not tested.
• Helpful before commercial. Recommendations come from reader needs, never from commission rates.
